An international sized gymnasium and expansive sporting fields are a feature of the school. A wide range of sporting opportunities in local, regional and state competitions is provided. Recreational sports also feature in the sports program.

Junior Hockey Sports day varies from term to term.
Students in year 7 and 8 have a double period of sport each week,
which is integrated with their PDHPE classes.
The sporting activities are presented by trained PDHPE teachers.
This approach allows a direct extension to the physical skills and
experience being developed in PDHPE units.
In year 7 the sport emphasis is on skills development and
their application to games involving hitting, kicking
and throwing/catching.
Year 8 students experience the games of cricket,
basketball and soccer.
All students participate in cross country, athletics,
dance and aquatics during their sport periods.
Thursday periods 1-2.
Students choose a different each term with most activities
having a recreational basis.

Students in Year 11 have one period of sport each week. A range of recreational sports activities are presented by the PDHPE staff. Year 11 students are active in choosing their groups program.
Sport is optional and is held at the same time as Years 9-11.
