Parental and community support for the school is strong and is characterised by a supportive and co-operative home / school relationship.

This is demonstrated in many ways - P&C activities, canteen assistance, classroom helpers, sponsorship and community participation in a range of school activities and events.

Battle of the Bands This relationship is greatly valued by the school staff.

Tree conservation along the coast The annual Arts and Craft Festival is another example of the school's continuing commitment to the community. Both groups benefit from the event which has been a feature since 1973.
