Regular and occasional excursions are part of our Life Skills and Community Access programs and our students attend appropriate TAFE courses within the district.

Work Experience

We have an extensive and comprehensive Work Experience Program, beginning with pre-work experience activities in year 7 through to two-days-per week work participation in year 12.

Some students remain at school and take part in the Office Skills program. The support unit runs a weekly School Car Wash in which both students and staff participate.
Senior students also help organise and participate in Individual Work Placements at various work sites around the district.

Whole School Participation.

Support students integrate with their mainstream peers each day in rollcall, recess and lunch periods. All carnivals and some PE classes are combined. Individual students can be integrated in mainstream classes.

Sunshine Bus

The support units have a 20 seater Variety Club Sunshine Bus and trailer which makes the above programs possible.

We ensure the children are in a happy and safe learning environment.
